Hi! My name is Golden Oaks Remington Steal My Heart.
It's okay if you just call me Remington. I was born January 9, 2009. My dad's name is Golden Oaks Midnight Dream but they call him Bentley and mom's name is Golden Oaks Summer Song and they call her Annie. I was born in Michigan and Mary and David have been taking care of me. I am going to go to Minnesota to live with Mike and Beth. They have a lot of plans for me. Mary says it'll be a fun life! I am really looking forward to it! I'll miss my mom, dad, my brothers and sisters and Mary and David but -- we'll keep in touch....
Be safe, Remington! Hunting season doesn't start here for another two weeks (I think), but that pretty much puts an end to our walks through the state park! Since we live in the boonies we hear gunshots all the time and about 4 of the seven years we've lived here we've ended up with a dead deer on our property (usually a deer that's been shot and they didn't track it). Not my favorite time of the year.
Good reminder about wearing orange. I was reading a blog yesterday that showed a father and his 8 year old son completely covered in camo - including the camo hat. No orange in sight!

Oh Deer!
We're glad we live in the suburbs where the only thing they shoot off is fireworks. And they scare the heebie-jeebies out of us!
Thanks Rem.
Luv,
Riley and Star.
