Update....

I am getting things taken care of
after the terrible accident.
They came and took the van to get
fixed yesterday and hopefully we
will get it back by Friday.

I have decided to take this time to
get caught up in the office....

I grabbed the camera yesterday afternoon
and caught Little Buck having his
afternoon snack.

We all got a good laugh from it....

The picture now is on the bulletin
board in the break room....

We also had a flight of doves stop by for a
tour of RRC.
(Remington Research Center)

The mourning dove in charge,
Sir Charles,
watched from the tower on the
west side of RRC.

He was impressed.

It was a pleasure to show them around.

Later -- Remington --
check our calendar for upcoming tours
-- out!

Hey Rem. Sorry you had such an awful experience. Sometimes, there is nothing at all you can do to prevent tragedy.

A dove. Wow. We don't get those in our woods.

We used to get deer but our woods are near too many houses and roads.

Maybe little buck could become and intern at the RRC. I see that you have a little patch of snow here and there. Maybe little buck can keep a watch over it so it does not go anywhere.

Goose

Very cute pic of Little Buck, with his new antlers showing!
Amazing to think of all the birds that stay in Wisconsin for the winter! It must be their down vests that keep them warm. :)

Miss Molly sends nose taps for your very nice comment on our blog! She is a ham when a camera appears! lol

I was very sad to hear about the poor deer that hit your poor car. Nice to see that visiting one with his little horns.

Wow, lots of activity at the RRC. We feel for you about the deer accident. When we lived in Hawaii a deer hit us (yes they have deer there:) we were driving to the beach and a deer fell out of the sky and landed on our car. Really he just jumped over a very high hedge and hit our car. But, it felt like he came out of the sky. I felt his leg brush my arm as he crashed through the windshield. Sad day:(

Little Buck is adorable! I have deer friends I see on my pre-dawn walks. I love seeing them!

The deer picture is amazing!!! We love the doves, too, but sometimes they act kind of goofy. Your tour would be so good, I am sure you can charge a lot for the tickets!

The important thing is that everyone is safe. I've seen some really bad injuries from deer accidents!

(Well, everyone but the deer!)

Sad what happened, but glad you were not hurt. Deer have had a hard time trying to live in populated areas.
Thanks for stopping by my blog

Glad you all are okay but that is sad about the deer. It happens a lot around here too.

Nice pictures of the doves. We have doves that nest in our trees in the summer and the pack loves to watch them.
