I am getting things taken care of
after the terrible accident.
They came and took the van to get
fixed yesterday and hopefully we
will get it back by Friday.
I have decided to take this time to
get caught up in the office....
I grabbed the camera yesterday afternoon
and caught Little Buck having his
afternoon snack.
We all got a good laugh from it....
The picture now is on the bulletin
board in the break room....
We also had a flight of doves stop by for a
tour of RRC.
(Remington Research Center)
The mourning dove in charge,
Sir Charles,
watched from the tower on the
west side of RRC.
He was impressed.
It was a pleasure to show them around.
Later -- Remington --
check our calendar for upcoming tours
-- out!

Little Buck looked a little caught off guard!
We love the little buck's beginner antlers, like training wheels on a bike :)
Glad you have got your van fixed.

PS some of your football pics of you catching the ball in mid air would be excellent for my Contortionist tent
Rem, how did you get that pawesome photo of the little buck? You must have a super-dooper zoom lens! Glad to see you are taking care of things, pal.

Hey Rem. Sorry you had such an awful experience. Sometimes, there is nothing at all you can do to prevent tragedy.
A dove. Wow. We don't get those in our woods.
We used to get deer but our woods are near too many houses and roads.
Maybe little buck could become and intern at the RRC. I see that you have a little patch of snow here and there. Maybe little buck can keep a watch over it so it does not go anywhere.
Blessings,
Goose
Very cute pic of Little Buck, with his new antlers showing!
Amazing to think of all the birds that stay in Wisconsin for the winter! It must be their down vests that keep them warm. :)
Miss Molly sends nose taps for your very nice comment on our blog! She is a ham when a camera appears! lol
Hugs,
Kathy & Molly
You must be busy there - Sam and Monty would like to sign up for a tour.

I was very sad to hear about the poor deer that hit your poor car. Nice to see that visiting one with his little horns.

Wow, lots of activity at the RRC. We feel for you about the deer accident. When we lived in Hawaii a deer hit us (yes they have deer there:) we were driving to the beach and a deer fell out of the sky and landed on our car. Really he just jumped over a very high hedge and hit our car. But, it felt like he came out of the sky. I felt his leg brush my arm as he crashed through the windshield. Sad day:(
Perfect deer in the headlights look, what a fun picture.
Little Buck is really gorgeous.
We are really GLAD that you are getting the van taken care of... butt even MORE glad that no peeps were injured.
We were so sorry to hear about the accident! That must have been incredibly scary and upsetting! We know how much you and your bipeds love all of God's creatures. We're thankful that your family is OK!!!
Little Buck is adorable! I have deer friends I see on my pre-dawn walks. I love seeing them!
Play bows,
Zim
The deer picture is amazing!!! We love the doves, too, but sometimes they act kind of goofy. Your tour would be so good, I am sure you can charge a lot for the tickets!
So sorry to hear about the accident
Stop on by for a visit

Little Bucks antlers are so cute. Can i take a trip to the RRC please, looks so fun!!!
Love Milo :)
The important thing is that everyone is safe. I've seen some really bad injuries from deer accidents!
(Well, everyone but the deer!)
Sad what happened, but glad you were not hurt. Deer have had a hard time trying to live in populated areas.
Thanks for stopping by my blog
Sweet William The Scot
was that an official break time for Little Buck or was he slacking on the clock?
Little Buck has the most adorable little antlers!
Love ya lots,

Glad you all are okay but that is sad about the deer. It happens a lot around here too.
Nice pictures of the doves. We have doves that nest in our trees in the summer and the pack loves to watch them.
Little Buck sure is super cute!! Glad you are feeling much better!

We're so sorry about the accident. We're glad none of you in the van were hurt and we're sure the van will be good as new after it's fixed. We're really sure the little deer is in Deer Heaven, in the deer section over the Rainbow Bridge
