Drive with care....

In Minnesota we joke about
having two seasons....

Winter and road construction....

however with the Minnesota government
shut down (now for 13 days)
some of the road projects
have been put on hold....
but not all....

Please remember --

SAFETY FIRST!

Take care on the roads, my friends!

Later -- Remington --
SLOW DOWN!
-- out!

That's funny !
I too always suggest my friends and whoever who drives to first maintain road safety.

Driving is a fun or a necessity!

There were some craaaaazy drivers flying past me, weaving in and out of traffic on the interstate yesterday on my way home from over the bridge and tunnel. It was ridiculous! I need to hunt them down and make them read this post! Be safe! (We also have torn up roads in front of our house that haven't been worked on in weeks. They paved them temporarily then came back a few weeks later and scraped up the temporary paving to do the real paving...that was weeks ago and no paving has been done...ugh!)

Looks like you found a new job to do away with your boredom. I like the vest, it is YOU. good advice about slowing down, we all need to pay attention to that one. our traffic here in FL is very dangerous and we don't have a good looking guy like you to direct us

Hi Y'all,

You look really sharp in your vest. Are you going to be holdin' the "stop" "slow" sign?

Here in the southeast the police are pickin' up patrols in construction zones. Even if unmarked, zones require slower speeds. Check your state. Here the minimum to drop your speed is 10mph. In higher speed areas you could drop 20mph or more.

Y'all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog

Thanks for the reminder! Mom and Jerome and going to visit Sophie's mom today and there is a lot of construction here too.
BTW, you look great!

In Colorado the construction zones have posted signs with warnings that all fines are doubled in those areas. I don't think it slows down the crazy drivers, except that those of us that do slow down, force them to do the same! Stay out of the way! ♥♫

Rem, you would be perfect for doing public service announcements on T.V.! You look extremely huggable in that outfit! But why is the government shut down?

In California the fine for speeding in a construction zone is 250.00 minimum! They have big signs posted everywhere to slow down for workers, too. We forget how dangerous their job is! Thanks, Rem!!

Rem, if we saw you on the road construction sites, we would stop and say hello, and yes, we surely would make sure the humans drive carefully. Hope your state gets things figured out. Can you just imagine the streets without plows?

Thanks for a public safety announcement that is valid in EVERY state! Hopefully your legislators will come to their senses soon...before the people of MN realize that they can live without them!

See you're hard at work, as usual. Hope your state government gets back to work, too. And that our federal government doesn't follow in MN's dysfunctional footsteps. Can we throw them ALL out and start over?
