There is always hope....

Do you remember my brother Forrest?  He just turned 15 years old the other day.  On January 6 of this year he lost his wife who was 14 years old.  He loved her very much and has been so lonely.
I guess -- it's true what Beth always says --

When God closes a door....He opens a window.
I am so happy Forrest has a new friend....
(kinda like a granddaughter....)

Later -- Remington -- I don't mind sharing Ozabella at all! -- out!

Forrest and Ozabella look very happy together. I can hear the purring from here. Every kitty should have a grandaughter. You are such a good boy to share your sister.

You are a good brother to share your Ozabella with Forrest. I am sure he appreciates it too. :)

Rem what a truly amazing relationship. BETH is so very right! Mom and I think you were a good foster parent to Ozabella too. It seems that adult male cats are much more accepting of kittens. Milky-Way loved my sis's 1st kitten; however, when she got her 2nd kitten Madi was 3 yo and she would have nothing to do with that kitten except to hiss at it.
Beautiful picture
Happy Sunday,

Remington: We feel the successful (and sweet) relationship Oz(abella) has with Forrest is due to your careful nurturing. You have raised a good dog there, and now her grand-dad can teach her a few cat tricks.

Ozabella is just what Forrest needed.
Hey Remington... I have some WILD picturs of the Strawberry Moon from last night. You will not believe them. They look like it is ready to pick from the sky. I'll post them for you when I get a chance.

I think Ozabella must be a very special gift for Forrest. Has Beth read the "All Creatures Great And Small" series? A new friend can do amazing things for a grieving dog or cat. Rem, would you like a dog brother or sister, or are you enjoying being Top Dog? And did you howl at the Strawberry Moon last night? Hope it wasn't obscured by clouds!
