Well -- I don't know how to tell you this but I have a new sister!

Ozabella
We had to take Oz to the Dr. because "she" was breathing funny so she got some medicine for it -- nothing serious....when we were there they told Beth Oz was a girl. I guess it's hard to tell if a kitty is a boy or girl when they are little so when the first Dr. saw Oz at 3 weeks old
they were wrong....
Oz has been asking me over and over again why I keep calling her
my little brother 'cause she was a girl.
I thought Oz was just joking around with me.
TOLD YOU SO!

Hehe... oops! We are glad that you know she is not a he! Its hard to tell when they are five weeks (usually this is the age our fosters are when we get them!) Well, the good thing is that Oz is still too little to know you had it wrong, and there shouldn't be any lasting identity crisis.

Well I'm thinkin' you could still call her Oz as a Nickname. That way it won't be too traumatic for her. Heck I can't even tell a full grown Boy cat from a full grown Girl cat. Butt I think that is beclaws they are always runnin' away from me.

Wow, that is so funny! Well, I guess a Stella/Oz paring is out - but Gus is sure interested in Ozabella! And we think Oz works ok for a nickname for her still - we think it is cute! And she is a cutie no matter what! Of course, she may be a bit of a tomboy with you teaching her some boy stuff - but that is ok because we know she will still love to learn lots of stuff from you!
That is so funny, Ozabella! When I was about your age, they called me "Sir" and then I went to the vet... and the rest is history! Hurray for girls!

Boy you sure had Mom going for a second. She thought you were talking about a NEWFIE sister!
Since Delilah and Vinnie had a litter in May, Mom thought Mary might be heading to Minnesota sometime in July to make a special delivery.
Ozabella is such a beautiful name and I'm sure "Oz" will be just as great as a sister as she was as a brother. I hope her breathing problem is nothing serious.
