The Protector!

I am still pretty excited about the football game. We really enjoyed it! Go Vikings!
I now have found out that I am "The Protector"! Saturday night Mike and Beth were suppose to go to this fancy fundraising dinner but when we got home from St. Cloud Beth got a bad headache so we stayed home and Mike went alone. Beth and I relaxed and watched some TV and then went to bed early. ANYWAY....about 11:00 pm I heard a noise and woke up. I didn't know what it was and thought maybe it was a robber. So I went to the top of the stairs and looked down. I gave my best low growl and to make sure they would know I was serious I had my hair standing up on my back. Then the light came on and I was still half asleep and I lowered my head and kept growling. Then this person came up the steps VERY slowly and THEN I realized it was Mike. Mike said he couldn't believe it! He said if he would of been a robber he would of RUN out the door with one look at me! He said I was VERY scary looking! No one would want a 110 pound dog with it's hair standing up on it's back and growling to deal with. Beth slept through all of this. When Mike woke her up she thanked me and said that now she would feel safe if she had to be alone because she knew I would protect her. Well, of course I would protect her -- I love her a whole bunch! She's my BFF!
It's rainy out today and Beth and I don't have any plans. We went for a long walk about 5:30 this morning, before Mike went to work. It was a cool 41 degrees and windy. Just the way I like it. There were leaves blowing all over and I tried to catch them. It was fun.
I need to go and see when Sponge Bob is on. I need a laugh!
Later. Remington -- The Protector -- out!

Hi Remington....good job looking after Beth. That is funny that Beth slept through all the low growling. I bet you are one ferious looking creature in the shadows. We hope she is feeling better today. My peeps get headaches when the weather changes drastically. Do you ever get a headache? I don't.

What a great puppy! Jack, on the other had, would have asked them if they had any food, jumped up to lick their face. Unless they rang the door bell - then the entire neighborhood would have known someone was there!
