Today I was given my very first real bone. It was kinda like a graduation or something. It was a really big deal. I had never had a real bone before. Mike went to this place called a meat market and had it cut especially for me. It was smoked flavored and everything. Then when we got home Mike cooked it and it smelled really good. Then after he cooled it off -- he gave it to me. I didn't even know what to do at first. Kinda brought a tear to my eye....I mean it was so nice. I have been chewing on it and this is so much better than those rubber kongs. Beth said it will make my teeth even whiter.
Back to chewing on my bone....Remington -- a very blessed Newfie -- out!

Hey bro, next time have Mike give it to you RAW and it will be even better. Might want to take it outside though cause it's messy. By not cooking it the bone won't splinter and get caught in your throat and it's SOOOOOOOOO tasty. We get one every once in a while but have to eat it out on the deck until all the good stuff is off and the marrow is out and then we get to bring it inside. YUM, YUM, YUM.....Might have to go ask Mom for one right now. Enjoy.
Forgot to tell you - raw turkey necks are also GREAT. Don't get those hardly every cause Mom says they're just to gross to look at but are they ever yummy.

Hi Remington...Madi and I saw your post on Jack's blog...we thought we'd drop by to say hi!!! You are a handsome fellow. Madi's former VET had a Newfoundland named Cowboy. He was ginormous!!! Mom said Cowboy was a good name 'cause a cowboy could ride him. He used to always be at the vet's office when we visited there. We miss him they moved to the NC Mountains we envy them. You are a very lucky Newfie to have two very special families love you so much.
