Hi! My name is Golden Oaks Remington Steal My Heart.
It's okay if you just call me Remington. I was born January 9, 2009. My dad's name is Golden Oaks Midnight Dream but they call him Bentley and mom's name is Golden Oaks Summer Song and they call her Annie. I was born in Michigan and Mary and David have been taking care of me. I am going to go to Minnesota to live with Mike and Beth. They have a lot of plans for me. Mary says it'll be a fun life! I am really looking forward to it! I'll miss my mom, dad, my brothers and sisters and Mary and David but -- we'll keep in touch....
Hope when those who lived through that day and who lost friends and family are gone...hope those who come behind will remember and it will be a day to unite as one nation under God...
Remington.... What powerful images. I have Alan Jackson's "Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning)" playing within my head as these words are being typed. Wonderful, heartfelt song. You should listen to it. I was 17 when Tuesday, September 11th, 2001 occurred. I reside thousands of miles away from where the attacks took place. Today and always, I refuse to forget. Love, Raelyn.... And Rose, my BEAUTIFULLY UNIQUE "Mystery Dog"!!
Especially remember the "after" victims...human and canine...who have developed cancer and other horrible illness as a result of their heroic efforts on the toxic site of the tragedy.
