Thief....

Policeman Remington
on duty....

It has come to my attention that there has
been some items missing in our house.

Beth is upset, as she doesn't know where
things are going....

The other night when she was getting ready for the
Chamber of Commerce supper she couldn't find
her mascara.  She and Mike looked ALL over
for it....and it is STILL missing.

Pens, toys, buttons, little books, even some garbage
are GONE!

So I am now on duty to find the thief.

I do have a suspect....

Don't let the innocent face fool you....

I will keep you updated on the progress....

However, I don't think it will be
TOO hard to figure out....

Later -- Policeman Remington --
do you think I should put the thief in jail?
-- out!

Remington, I definitely think there should be some kind of consequence, but try to be gentle. You sure can do a lot of things.

MOL Remington it appears you have a cat burglar with very sticky paws.

Sometime ago mom saw a video on animal planet about an indoor/outdoor cat. In the dark of night he visited neighbors stealing things on their patios an porches. All these items were stashed in the family's garage. Lo and Behold the peeps found them with horror. They finally figured out they had a thief in the family. They loaded everything on a table put a big sign on it asking neighbors to see if anything belonged to them.

oh my, Rem you do have a dilemma, jail time or grounded or community service.... let me know what you decide. You make a handsome police person

Rem...we recommend you spend more time playing with the culprit so he doesn't have all that time on his hands.

I think a probationary period, with some community service will turn this 'perp' around.

I think you need to follow him for a while to see where his stash is hidden. There must be a huge pile of precious things stored somewhere.

Rem, I'm with Harrispen, if you follow him you might find his "stash"!

Jail is pretty harsh Remington. Maybe a slap on the wrist first! LOL! You sure do look good in a uniform!

Meowm here: Remi, you look great in uniform!!!!

No, no punishment for the thief, but you must train your people to put things away, hidden, so little thieves paws can't get to them. ;)

First time offense! I think you should go easy him. :)

Looks like he has been loading up the stolen goods in that basket, then wheeling it all away! Good detective work, Rem!!!

Awww, we think you should just keep an eye on the suspect.
Cats do seem to love unusual objects to play with, especially if they are pen shaped.

Officer Remington, you are quite striking in uniform! We are confident that you will detect who the cul(cat)prit is!

Looks like you have a good suspect Remington. When the Kitty Krew was about the same age as Ripley we started finding all sorts of strange things in our backyard. There was a tiny doll with long hair and a nylon glove. None of the neighbors had ever seen the items before, we don't know where they found them. Fortunately they outgrew their kleptomania. Or maybe they learned to hide their "finds" a little better.

The good news he is still young enough to be rehabilitated! Maybe make him watch videos of homeless cats so he realizes just what a good life he has

Tucker The Crestie said...

Perhaps you could give him a light sentence this time? He's too cute for prison!
