Weekend update....

First and most important....

FOOTBALL!

We lost to the Raiders....

Vikings 21 -- Raiders 27

Lots of texting going on between
Jon and I....

He is trying SO hard to convert me
to a Raiders fan....

NO WAY!

I am STILL the #1 Vikings fan.

I just consider this their practice year --
next year will be MUCH better.

Now I am certain you are all curious
to why I am in my Dr. outfit.
Well, Adrian Peterson -- #28 --
my favorite Vikings player
(remember I run fast like him)
in a run his left ankle
rolled grotesquely as he
was pulled down from behind by a
couple of Raiders defenders.
Peterson limped off the field
and was taken by cart to the
locker room for X-rays....
seeing as I am a Dr. --
they knew I was the Newf to call.

He hurt his ankle but I am ordering
MANY tests to determine the extent
of his injury.  I will keep you updated....

Good thing I got THAT degree!

Okay -- now the other stuff....

Saturday we went on a road trip to
St. Cloud....we maybe should have
thought that through a little better....

It was a little blustery....
but Mike said he is originally from
North Dakota so that makes him an
expert in driving in snow storms --
I'm not sure how that works but hey,
I trust him....

Turned out to be a lot of fun --
we stopped for treats and I took Mike
for a walk in the snow....
he LOVED it!

On Sunday after the game Mike had
school work.  Did I forget to tell you that
he works all day and goes to school at night.
I told you he was a workaholic!  He is back in
school to get his PhD in Hospital Administration.
I think he just wants to be a Dr. like me....

Any way Rippy (new name as he is getting older)
helped him out.  I think he was trying to help
Mike turn pages or something.  You have to give
Rippy credit for at least "trying" to help!

I got the Christmas Card Exchange list from
Jazzi
(click on her name to check out her awesome blog)
yesterday and have to start
writing on all of my cards --
now that is what I call FUN!

But first....

a nap....
and then I will have to
check on my patient....

Later -- Remington --
the #1 Vikings fan
-- out!

That snow is incredible. Please keep it your way for a while longer! : ) Good thing the team has you to help with the injuries and Mike has Rippy (getting big!) to help study. You deserve that nap after all you have done. Enjoy!

Morning Handsome and happy monday.
St. Cloud needs to be called St. Snow...good grief it is just November. We had temps in the 70 all weekend...not bragging actually 'cause it was TOO hot. MOL

Congrats to Mike on his very commendable goal of a PhD!! He has a great role model in Dr. Rem to follow and good to see Lil' Rip is his study buddy.
Hugs Madi

We have to say the same thing about our Chiefs, not sure we want to see what happens tonight with an unseasoned quarterback out there. Could be an interesting game - or. Not!

We saw on the news about how bad the roads were in parts of MN. We are so glad your dad took such good care of you,

Have a good week.
