It is very important to have
things in your life that
help you to relax.
I love to read!
I find it very relaxing....
I have two relaxing things I do
to read....
First --
From 12:30 to 1:00 pm each
weekday I listen to
WPR
(Wisconsin Public Radio)
and they have a program called
WPR
(Wisconsin Public Radio)
and they have a program called
"Chapter A Day".
I listen and they read me a book.
I don't have to do anything....
not even turn a page....
just relax and listen!
Of course I have to listen to
a modern radio....
not like the one I use to listen
to my old time radio shows....
because this is on an FM station....
Second --
I go to our little library
and find a good book....
Then I get all comfy and
get lost in reading the story....
It is SO relaxing....

you are soooo adorable when you are relaxed.. i keep my car radio on NPR, they have a talk show i like.. have not heard a reading a book show. my friend drives many hours several times a year to visit her kids that are scattered in 3 states. she listens to audio books all the way.
forgot to say i like the kitty reading lamp...in just the right place, when the radio reads it looks like kitty is reading

I think I need to find me a radio station to read to me too. As you can see from my post today I don't find reading quite as relaxing as you do. I still say that squirrels came in and ate that book...not me.

Phil listens to NPR,Rem. To relax, I like to blog, read, and shop!! Probably the most fun for me is taking good pictures with my camera!

We love reading, too! Momma reads to us from whatever book she is currently enjoying (which is The Plague of Doves by Louise Erdrich)and we listen just like you do to the radio. We find it relaxing and sometimes even fall asleep mid chapter!
