Weekend update....

Saturday was fun....
We went to Madison and
Beth got to meet one of
her favorite authors....
William Kent Krueger!
She got there early and was able
to visit with him for about 15 minutes.
He signed all twelve of her books!
He was very nice.
He has a new book coming out in March.
(That one isn't part of the series....)
He told her that he has started
working on a new book in the series
and the story line will have
Aitkin, MN in it!
How cool is that!
That is where we use to live!
I don't think she has stopped
smiling since....

Now the real important
stuff -- FOOTBALL!

Hard game for the Vikings....

Vikings 26 -- Redskins 38

However....
Green Bay 42 -- Texans 24

Well done!

And a HUGE thank you to
my girlfriend, Sasha!
They couldn't have done it
without you!
(Maybe we need to get her to help out with
the Vikings too....)

For now....

Later -- Remington --
I just need some rest....
-- out!

Rem, i think you should get Sasha a Vikings cheer leader dress quickly, that might do the trick. your face is sooooo kissable in that first shot.. smooch smooch. i am happy Beth met one of her favorite authors. Stuart Woods was here a couple of weeks ago and i have read all his books, but did not go to meet him.

Yes, Beth looks pretty happy! How cool was that not only to meet her favorite author but to get her picture taken with him! Sorry about your Vikings, both of mine & hubby's teams managed to pull it off with seconds left in the games. whew! Maybe you should get Sasha a Vikings outfit! :)

Very exciting for your mom! So nice Mr. Krueger spent so much time visiting with your mom. It is a really nice photo of them. And very cool of the author to sign all 12 of your mom's books. He sounds like a great guy!

How fun for Beth - she sure looks happy!!!

Hey Remington, do you think we could borrow Sasha for a bit to see if she can do anything with our Chiefs? Come to think of it, we could really use your help too - bring that play book.

Hi Sweety, I was so happy that the Packers won!! I had so much fun cheering and meeting the other cheer leaders. It was the greatest day. Thank you so much for getting me on the team. Mommy was so excited to read that Beth went to Madison. Madison is where Mommy and Daddy went on their first date to a football game and it is their favorite city. Daddy got his kidney transplant at UWMadison Hospital. I am happy Beth got to meet her favorite author. I hope you are resting my sweety, I worry about you working too hard between both teams and all of your other duties. Please take care and call me soon. Do you think we might share some cider and donuts soon??
