My Saturday....

Saturday I was a little down in the dumps....
The Vikings lost Thursday night....
I was homesick for Minnesota....
don't get me wrong I DO like the hills
but something is missing.

Beth noticed it and I saw her talking
to Mike and then she said --
"Hey Remington do you want to go
on an adventure?"

I hesitated but said "sure...."

We headed out and I had NO clue
where we were going but Beth kept
saying it would cheer me up....

In no time at all I noticed the signs....

Hhhmmmm....
Chicago or Milwaukee?

It was Milwaukee!

A big city!
I love it!

There was so much to see....
The Art Museum

This was Beth's favorite....
A sculpture by Jaume Plensa
(click on his name to see some
of his other work....it's awesome!)

Miller Park

I stopped here to see my friend,
Miss Puddles,
  but she wasn't in....

I even met a kitty....

They had restaurants right
on the street corners....

and you didn't even have to go in!

THEN
there it was....

WATER!

I didn't realize how much I missed
WATER until that moment!

We had so much fun!

Mike, Beth and I had the whole
beach area to ourselves!

Beth and I looked for treasures....

We ran and played!
(well, I ran....ha ha!)

And we went for slow walks
on the beach just to talk....

It was the best time EVER!

I left my paw print right on the beach
of Lake Michigan....

I will fondly remember this day....

Later -- Remington --
Great memory....
-- out!

That must have been a very cool adventure, Rem! Lake Michigan is like an ocean it's so huge! Such a pretty day! Good thing you went then, 'cause now it's very stormy I understand!

The full moon was spectacular last night. Mike took a great photo of it! You can see all of the craters!

What a great spirit-lifting family adventure! Everyone looks so content and happy.

Suka crossed over the Rainbow Bridge much too soon after being diagnosed with his heart illness. No one expected it to happen so quickly. K, his human, is lost and is struggling to find words for the blog that we all hope we never have to write.

OMD Sweety, that is where Mommy and Daddy used to live!! Mommy hopes you got to drive along the lake front. They have been to many many wonderful festivals there. The art museum is so beautiful. Mommy was so happy to see your pictures. You cheered her up. She is has been kind of bummed lately cause her back is hurting so much. Your pictures made her soooo happy. Thank you. Happy Halloween and I hope you have fun passing out treats. It is cold and rainy so Mommy thinks we won't have as many as usual. I will be barking and howling at them between 6 and 8, can you please try to come out and listen for me.

I am sorry about the Vikings. Let me know if I can help you in any way. I miss you and I hope we can see each other soon.

Loveys and hugs your Sasha
