REST!

I took yesterday off!

After that frustrating football game
I needed a break to regroup....

Miss Sasha was busy with the
package I sent her so I took a
long walk and some friends stopped by....

I chatted with some birdies....

 Fern the fox stopped
by but couldn't stay long.
She sure is cute!

Miss Daisy and I were surprised to see
some of her relatives show up!

Pete was a hoot!
I was rolling on the ground
laughing at all of his jokes!
From the looks of it
I think he was in a fight
but I didn't ask....

They had to take off....
they took a short cut down
our hill to get home....

It was a great day....

And when I got back in the house
this is how I
found Mr. Ripley....

I think he can sleep any where!

Later -- Remington --
 I feel better now....
back to work!
-- out!

Rem you have a gazillion friends at your now home but I'm not surprised 'cause you are also a very good friend to them. Mr. Ripley cracks me up...crazy cat using the pumpkin as a pillow. For sure cats can sleep anywhere anytime on anything.

that pumpkin makes a great pillow.. and a really sweet photo. i would so love to see your hill and the visitors that went down it and Fern is so pretty, what a tail she has. bob said to tell you when you read my post today, that he would fix your problem but they will not hire him, even though he is as qualified as you.

The last time I saw Mr. Ripley I believe he was in the same position but a different location. Glad you took some time off. That is very important to stay sharp, fresh, and grateful.

Remington, we just LOVE seeing all of your friends!!! I sure hope Pete wasn't in a fight - maybe he just ran into a tree or something. I can't imagine anyone fighting with him - he looks like such a nice guy!
And WOWZERS! That Fern! I love the colors in her coat! Is she real young, do you think? She seems tiny!
Beautiful post!

hey Remington,

What a wonderful yard you have! Such a huge deer family! And Pete looks a little worse for wear! He looks like a fun one to hang with. Fern the Fox has a gorgeous tail!

Mr. Ripley looks so cute sleeping on the pumpkin. He must be anxious for Halloween.
