Not to mention is was 60 degrees!

i agree with Lilli, people should just listen to you and read your blog and life would be much simpler for them and no dangers of falling through the ice, looks like the cars might fall through it also.
Well, Remington... you knows those peoples are thinking 'it won't happen to me' until of course, it does. Then they'll say that there should have been signs telling them not to park on the ice. Soon no one will be able to ice fish any more!

I think you should do a follow-up post and let us know if any cars were lost out there. We have that happen around here on occasion too. Usually those driving the vehicles have indulged in a little liquid courage first.

Remington, this was an excellent and informative post. What I learned is that Peeps can be so foolish. You didn't see any dogs out there did you? No cause we know better. I am glad you are safe and are feeling well enough to go out. We have lots of lakes around us and my Dad is always talking about the stupid #@%$# that go out playing hockey and fishing on the thin ice and then we see them on the news and its really sad sometimes.
