Do you remember Bailey?
She is my BFF
and Mike and Beth's granddaughter....
Bailey loves Newfoundland dogs.
She has been around them ever since she
was a baby. The very first Newfie she knew
was Taylor.
She lived with Mike and Beth too.

She went to the Rainbow Bridge shortly after
Bailey was born....
Then she met Samuel....
Bailey AND Samuel were both little!
She loved Samuel SO much!
As they grew up together she
would walk him when she visited Mike and Beth
and he minded every thing she said.
So when Beth found this plate
by Janet Cain she just had to get it because
it looked just like Bailey and Samuel....
Isn't it cool?
Samuel had to go to the
Rainbow Bridge way too
soon Beth said....
And now here I am!
Bailey loves me too!
And guess what....
she walks me just like
she did Samuel....
And I mind every thing she says....

Oh Rem....Bailey has inherited her love of Newfies from Beth and Mike.
Taylor and Samuel were very good baby sitters just like the Newfie in Peter Pan! Newfies are absolutely gentle giants who love everyone unconditional. Children learn so much by learning to love animals!!
I the picture of Bailey and Samuel MUST have been the inspiration for the plate.

Oh Remington! That has left me teary. What a sweet story of you and your BFF Bailey. Mike and Beth's grandaughter is beautiful and how great that she has grown up knowing 3 Newfs! You sure can tell she loves you a lot. I hope one day it can be the same for my grankids with Fred and Gloria! Thanks for sharing such a great story and pictures! I love the plate!

Remington, Bailey is beautiful. You are so lucky and you deserve it. Have a wonderful time with her and take nice long walks. I had a lovely time at our visit but I understand if you need to spend time with Bailey. Call me when you can.
