Weekend update!

Another fun weekend!

Beth and I got quite a bit
done on our quilt and Mike
finished his homework in time
for the big game!

LOTS of goodies to eat
and a great game to watch!

Congrats to
the GIANTS
the Super Bowl winners!

Nothing better than a football game!
And THAT was a great one!

We had some nice hoar frost on Saturday
morning.  Everything looks SO frosty....

What is hoar frost you ask?

Hoar frost occurs when water vapor touches
a very cold surface and freezes on it
instantly.  This can happen to the leave and
branches of plants, and will cover them with
ice crystals that look like spike fingers.

I took some pictures to share with you....

Looks like this tree only got half of the frost....

It was fun to drive around and see
how frosty everything looked.
VERY PRETTY!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

I still didn't learn how to dance....

Later -- Remington --
maybe I could just stand there and sway....
-- out!

hubby was happy, he loves the manning brothers, and was rooting for Eli. did you know Madonna is 53 and still kicking? i loved the commercials, especially the Dorita dog Great Dane, he was almost as big and pretty as you. have you considered being in a super bowl commercial, you are such a great actor.

Love the snow and ice in the trees. Our trees are bare - no leaves, no snow, no ice.

Remington you are so smart, it never ceases to amaze me. I have so much to learn from you. We also had a blast watching the game, it was a good game and we had nummy snacks(lots of cheese). Please don't worry about dancing, I am happy just to be with you. I can climb up on your sturdy shoulders and you can gently sway back and forth, that will be enough. We could also just go outside and have a game of touch football with the other pawty guests, either way the night will be magical.

The hoar frost is so pretty. We had ice fog (basically the same thing) over the weekend but it was so foggy we couldn't get any good photos.

That was a great game with some really cool commercials too. We fell in love with Weego the rescue dog on the Bud commercial.

Your landscape looks absolutely magical! As for dancing, Rem, it is easy...just look deeply into the eyes of your lady, breathe deeply, and follow the rhythm of your hearts. Don't think about it...FEEL it!
