WHAT?

IT'S WHAT?

Ozabella just informed me that
tomorrow is opening deer hunting
firearm season
in Minnesota!

It is my job to go and warn
the deer!  I am all ready to go and
put some flyers out in the woods
where the deer hang out.  Please
note that I am wearing the proper
gear so I don't get shot!  I certainly
am glad it's not bear season....
if you catch my drift....
(that ended Oct. 16)

Oh yeah -- a couple more things....

No Vikings football this weekend....
I thought they could use a break.

Also

don't forget on Saturday night
before you go to bed....

no, not just into your bed....
but turn your clocks back 1 hour!

It's daylight savings time!

That extra hour of sleep will
sure feel good.

Have a safe and
FUNTASTIC weekend,
my friends!

AGAIN....
Be sure to warn any
 deer you may see!

 Thank you!

Later -- Remington --
PUBLIC NOTICE
Zone 3 will be open for
any deer that need
a safe place....
-- out!

Update --

Remember my friend, Deerfoot?

Just ran into him and he is
on his way to Zone 3....
in his deer hunting disguise....
they will NEVER guess he is a deer!
That is one smart guy!

You are so cute, smart, and sweet. I don't care for deer hunting either.

So you gave the Vikings a rest this weekend - nice of you.

Have a wonderful weekend too!

can't stop smiling today, you are sooo cute in your deer warning suit. i do wish i could get just one of my pups to pose and dress like you. siggghhh.
you take care of those deer and protect them and be careful out there. i think Ozabella might like your hat, better watch her.

Rem, maybe you could teach the deer to bark so they don't get shot! "WOOF, WOOF!"
And have them wear a hat over their antlers & ears, too!

Did it tickle when Ozzie whispered into your ear?! LOL

Go warn all the deer Rem! Make sure you show them the best hiding spots!

Our deer season is the three weeks surrounding Thanksgiving. Your pals are welcome to sneak over here (Oneida Lake, NY.) Tellum to bring their own tent.

Just for curiosity's sake, do you have your own walk-in closet for your wardrobe?

Spike sends his love. And Lizzie, too.

I don't know what those deers would do without you, Rem! Great job!! Great pics!

Ours is over so you can send your friends here. I HATE this time of the year too. Not only for my friends the animals but because My Vickie doesn't take me hiking during the hunt.

One time on a search she and Andy (Her search dog) were shot at and almost got by some crazy hunters who were drunk and just shooting at anything.

It's not safe out there now. So be very careful when you go to warn your deer friends.

It is wonderful that you open up Zone 3 to be a safe place for the deer. I'm gonna see if they can put some of the deer on the patio by the pool down here.

Have a great day.

I wish they didn't have this. We get so many deer at our beach place. I worry about them with cars let alone crazy people.

We don't change clocks in AZ - so we aren't going to know anyone's time for a few days! It's so confusing!

Whisppy said...

Oh dear, deers. Can you round them up and keep them safe at your backyard, Remi?

The Army of Four said...

OK... so this means I need to wake Mom up an hour earlier, right? I think that's how it works.
I often see some deers on my first walk of the day, when it's still dark out. I'll be sure to warn them!

You are doing SUCH a great job warning the deer. Good on you!

We got OUR extra hour in bed last weekend in the UK. I certainly enjoyed that but I DON'T like it being dark so early now.
