Not only is it cool that the date is
11-11-11....
but it is the day we honor all that
have served and those who continue to serve
our country to keep us safe and free.
It's called
Veteran's Day.
I read this at a funeral of a
veteran not long ago and thought
how true it is....
A veteran is someone who,
at one point in his/her life,
wrote a blank check made
payable to:
The United States of America,
For the amount of,
"up to and including my life."
How true that is....

Happy belated Vets day. My nephew is a vet and went to the Olive Garden and they gave him a free dinner and a $10 gift card, how nice was that?
