This last weekend we had a change
in plans....
We did NOT go to the Art Festival....
Beth said that it was suppose to be 91 degrees
and she would not have me walking
in that kind of heat. (LOVE HER!)
So we went to the Apple Orchard close to
where we live.
They have this new apple out....
It's called the Sweetango which is a cross between
a Zestar and HoneyCrisp!

THEN -- even though there are
103 days until Christmas....

Mike got his present a little early....
I guess it was probably a good idea as
he would have had trouble getting
around with it in the snow....
He is VERY happy!
I think he should atleast let
me ride it once in awhile,

You get a WHOLE apple?!!? You're so lucky. I get a taste now and then, but only a TEENY piece. Mom will look for that kind of apple - she loves those Honeycrisp kind!

Crisp apples go hand and hand with Autumn...we keep begging dad to get soe handmade caramel apples from our Coop...they are his favorite, too!

We're with Jack; you need a sidecar [not to mention a helmet, goggles and seat belts] before you can try to ride Mike's motorcycle with him. If you start lobbying now, maybe that's what you'll get for Christmas.
