As you know in Zone 3 we have many visitors.
When the weather gets nicer out the deer don't
visit as much. So today I thought I would show you
some pictures I took this past week.
They will probably be the last ones
for awhile as it IS getting nice outside.
They will probably be the last ones
for awhile as it IS getting nice outside.
The regulars....
Mommy and the twins watching
Scotch the feral cat....
(yes, Beth names everyone!)
Scotch is the bravest one!
(and yes....she named one of the feral cats Soda....)
The twins....
There is the deer portion of the show....
AND here is
Scotch and Soda....
(I just had to show you....)
We can't get to close to them but
we provide a heated dog house (in the winter months),
food and water for them....
food and water for them....
Beth said maybe someday they will trust her,
and if not they still need to be cared for....
(of course she takes care of anyone that happens
to pass through Zone 3....it's just the way she is....)
BTW....
She got the names from what Ronald Regan
named his two Scotties.
She also named two cats a few
years ago Liberty and Justice.
Liberty left and has never returned
but Justice shows up every
once in awhile.
Later -- Remington --
I think every one deserves a name....
-- out!

i agree 100 percent Rem, that everyone needs a name. we name our lizards that live on the fence, daddy Lizard is Leonard and Lizzie is his wife. the mom and twins photo made me go awwww, but when i scrolled down to the twins up close and personal, my heart went pitty pat faster just looking at them. i would so love to view your zone 3 in person. glad spring is there for all of you
Ahhh, so much wonderful life in Zone 3 - and Beth is so good to help those feral kitties out. We loved seeing the twins - great close-up shot too.
Have a great Thursday.

Wow Remington, you certainly have lots of friends. I love Soda already because she looks just like me!
My outside kitties are finally let me pet them-only one little wild one scoots away when I feed them. They are like my other animals and do come right to the back door and once in a while sneak in the house. THAT gets interesting as I must leave the door open to let it out without letting in any of the others that are curious, too. ♥♫
Zone 3 is just the most awesome place!
You have a most awesome place to live, Remington! We think we like Zone 3 the best!
Sam and Pippen

Morning Rem,

Loved this entry! We have a backyard just like yours, complete with twins. Scotch reminds me of my old cat Thunder, when I got the kittens she had a tannish colored partner - you guessed it - his name was Lightening! lol
'love & hugs from afar'
Love the names ...
So nice of you to take care of your zone 3 visitors. Maybe some day you can get them into the vet to get 'fixed' but til then ...

Zone Three is so full of love and welcome! And we agree, everyone deserves a name...nothing makes momma sadder than shelter animals who only have numbers! You all are the most caring and wonderful folks!

Awww I love that you offer everyone food and shelter!!!! =)
The mama deer and the twins are so beautiful, they seem to know Zone 3 is a safe haven for all. We love Scotch and Soda, maybe one day they will learn to trust Beth.
Remington, tell Beth we think she has a wonderful loving heart to provide for all the animals.
We have lots of the same creatures you have too! Beth is a very nice mom to take care of all the animals...love the names! Xoxo Chloe and Ladybug
Ps...did you get to take Billy the Bus to Fargo? We love riding in our Rv...it sure is warmer here than home!
We are lovin' you really an' really hard from over here in Michigan 'cause your momma takes good cares of da kitties dat needs helps.
Love you in the hat! Wondeful deer pics too! You have some great visitors! And kitties are just so cute!
Its very noble of you Beth.. to feed the hungry.. be it the deer or the feral cats. Feral cats do take time to warm up.. even the ones here are sometime wary of humans... esp when other people throw rocks at them (i don't know what's wrong with those people)
Love the pictures from Zone 3... they are so close... i could spend a whole day just deer watching :)
