Remember I went to the vet yesterday....

It went very well!

They gave me my shots to protect
me from getting nasty things so I
stay healthy.

They tested me and the tests
came out fine.  No worms in
my heart and no lime.
I couldn't figure any of that out....
I have never eaten a worm
and I don't eat lime....
only lemons....
strange -- but hey,
she's the expert!

My Doctor checked me over really good
and said everything was great.
Joints, heart the whole works!

And of course my awesomeness
was off the charts!

I weigh 145 pounds.
That was the one thing she
said she would like changed.
She wants me to weigh below 140.
So Beth said when it gets nicer out we
would exercise and get in tip top shape.
Beth doesn't like me messing
around on the ice.
So she told the Dr. the goal
would be 137.

The day was fun.
Lake Superior was not....
there was so much ice....
and it was cold....
I couldn't decide on which toy I wanted
so I settled for a new container of treats....
wouldn't my Dr. be happy if she heard that....

Beth said I could only have one once in awhile....
we'll have to see about that....
I have these BIG brown eyes that seem to
work magic when I really want something....ha ha!

On the way home -- of course -- I couldn't
get Mike to stop at the casino....

I didn't quite understand that --
I guess you have to fight to get the
money now....that doesn't seem
like much fun.

Any way it was a fun day....

Now to focus on becoming
(well maybe not mean)
football machine!

Later -- Remington --
I think I take things WAY too seriously
-- out!

Great report! And LOL you certainly look like a workout machine! You look like you could take on Richard Simmons!

I think the docs take things too seriously - honestly - so you gained a 'little' winter poundage, who doesn't? I wish I could have kept mine down to only 5 #. Good job Rem! Now off to the treadmill for me.

Remington, we are glad the vet's visit went well. Five pounds huh? That's what the vet said to us..drop five pounds. What's wrong with those vets and the five pounds! It's hard to exercise in ice! Lots of love, Holly and mom

Oh my goodness. In that last picture, you look just like Olivia Newton John

's puppy! :)

You are totally ready for action! Maybe you'll be an inspiration for my mom person to take me on more walkies. She has head sickies that makes her scared to go out places sometime, but she really want to try hard to take me on regular walks in the spring. We don't do ice either.

Thanks for your well-wishes for my mom person. We know that they helped to get her home sooner.

I know you can lose those couple extra pounds. I noticed Lola has gained some weight too. It gets hard in the winter. But with spring and summer around the corner there will be longer walks.

Wooos to you for a healthy vet check!!!

Great news about your chuckup, Rem!! And you do look very lean in that last picture!! You do not look like you weigh a bit too much because of all your fur! Maybe that vet is being a bit too precise! Personally, I think that the extra weight is all in your brain.

Rosalee Bloss said...

Rem, are you wearing this outfit every time you and Beth go walking? I want to see it getting looser and looser on you. You are already one handsome dude - I don't know if my eyes will be able to handle seeing a leaner,((meaner(?)) Vikings machine.

Sam said...

We are glad you are healthy! I'm sure the pounds will melt right off!

Great looking new outfit!!! We are so happy to hear that your vet visit went well. You actually looked happy to be there! We aren't that good at the fact we are usually panting like you wouldn't believe....we get very nervous...don't know why. They usually treat us pretty well there, but we don't like the shots! Wish the ice would go away!! xoxo Chloe and LadyBug
