My special presents....

I had a GREAT Christmas....
except for the news about Grandma Frances....

As you all know we had a
gift exchange in Blogland.
My dear friend, Queen Madi,
got my name.

She and her mommy are VERY creative
in the card department!

They wrote that just for me!
Isn't that special!

Now for fun time....
opening the present!

I really love it!

Beth had told them that I don't do well
with anything stuffie.

BUT -- Madi was wise!
She added this on the card.

It was a fun 5 minutes....

Sorry Madi....I think I have a problem....

  I truly loved it!
Thank you!

Also thank you to my sister, Anna,
for the neat present.

And also I got THREE more
Christmas cards in the mail and
FIVE more email cards!

That brings the total this year to
cards by regular mail
email cards.

We had lots of company too!

AND Santa brought me a BIG smoked bone!

It has been the best Christmas ever!

Later -- Remington --
thank you everyone!
-- out!

Don't forget the Vikings vs Eagles
tonight at 7:00!

I feel for you, Rem as I often have that same problem with supposedly tough toys... Ah well! It just means we're extra special!

I think stuffies should be considered pawt of the Snack Group. If they are gooood they are gone quickly... BUTT OHHHHHHH those wonderful moments are sooooooo worth it!! I don't know why two leggers stress over this. They just don't have the Right Pawspective. Sheeesh.

That is the sweetest Poem a guy can ever receive :o)
Wow! Your gifts are just pawsome...
How did Ozabella do with her gifts?

Neeko :o)

Sandra said...

a beautiful card and gift. some how I knew what would happen to that gift since we have no toys that include stuffing after 5 minutes. that is why they put the stuffing in there, for you to remove.

A MilShelb Mom said...

We do that with stuffies too... Isn't the point of a stuffie to unstuff it?

The Rocky Creek Scotties said...

We're the same - there are few toys as tough as us!!

Lilly, Piper, Carrleigh and Ruairi

Priscilla said...

Oh Rem, I'm sure Madi and her mom wouldn't mind!! Anyway, we still need to find you a newf-proof toy!! I'm glad you had such a great Christmas and happy holidays to you!

rottrover said...

We did the exact same thing when mom bought us an indestructible stuffie. Sigh...

Ginny said...

O.K. what is the toughness rating scale, is it from 1 to 10? And this #9 lasted five minutes? I think they should sell these toys with the stuffing already out, then maybe ou would put it back in! Reverse psychology, you know!

Mr. Pip said...

But oh what a fun five minutes it was! Madi is the best and I just love her poem!

Your pal, Pip

JC said...

Sounds like you had a FUN Christmas. Tell your Mom to just stitch that toy up. I have to do that all the time. Maddy Jean loves her toys .. if you know what I mean.

Bruschi said...

Oh what a neat Christmas it was for you! That sure is a lot of cards! Don't feel bad.....all of my stuffies only last a few minutes too.

Oh and although we are Pats fans, we are rooting for the Vikings tonight. We root for ANY TEAM that plays the Eagles because Mommy hates Michael Vick and thinks he should not be playing in the NFL!

Wow Rem...Glad you had a great christmas. We are dog testers for tuffy toys so we will let you know if there is anything that you might be able to enjoy. We'll be rooting for the vikings today. *just don't tell mom and dad*

hi Remington! We love that you get through your toys so quick - our cousin Sonny does the same when we get her toys (we have found one she can't get into - it is super tough - but because of that she doesn't even play with it anymore). You know we are not big football cats but we are REALLY hoping that the Vikings win tonight - we hate the Eagles so much (we won't say why because we HATE even talking about it).

We hope that Ozabella got her card - if not we say she can come by and see her "pressies" that Gus got her - they are just virtual but you know, they are young and everything!

You got some really great pressies Remington. Queen Diva Madi is a very special friend to send you such a lovely poem. Sorry the stuffie didn't last longer but we bet it was fun.

We took a peek at the Viking/Eagles score before coming over and the Vikings are leading! YAY! We will be watching (on the internet, it's not on tv here) and crossing our paws for the Vikings.

You looked truly sorry...............!
We hope the ball lasts longer.....! The bone sounded very yummy and you are supposed to eat that - it is hard but we must remember you are still a pup.....!!! In years that is, not in size. It seems like Santa had the right idea knowing how you like to gnaw..........
