Hunting Season....

Today is the season opener for hunting deer
with firearms in Minnesota.
Not too good for the deer!
I have a safe place for them to stay
but it's a secret so no one gets them.

Remember
SAFETY FIRST!
Wear bright colors so no one will shoot you!

Example:

This makes it easier for people to see you and
hopefully they won't mistake you for a bear
and shoot you....
I'm just sayin'....

Don't Ozabella!

Oh she just wanted to turn my hat around
so you could see
that my name was on the
front and the back.
 Cool, huh?

One more thing --
Don't forget to turn your clocks back one hour
before you go to bed tonight!
Like they say....
FALL BACK!

Later -- Remington --
that extra hour of sleep will
certainly feel good....
-- out!

PS -- Beth is leaving me all alone with Mike!
I have NEVER been with out her!
She is going to stay with Amy in North Dakota!
What will I do without her?
So I won't be by to see any of you until Monday.
I just know I will be lost without her!
I hope YOU have a good weekend....

Remington..we think it is a very good thing for you AND Ozabella to wear those orange vest things when you are outside. She will need one in a smaller size.

And me and Dad and Teka get left alone when the muzzer goes off to see Aunt Marie, and so far we have survived.

Hope all goes well for you

Thank you for those timely (heeeheeee) reminders, Remington and Ozabella! I would think you'd need to wear an orange vest every time you go out into the woods (not just at deer season) because you really could be mistaken for a bear....just sayin'....your furend....Daisy

Well Rem, the blue and yellow colors suit you prefectly! And I see you even have your own clock! I am very glad to see you in that orange vest right now!! There are many hunters here in the Shennandoah Valley, and usually bad accidents every year! Thanks for reminding us all for ourselves and our pets, you are truly ever vigilant!

That's some very good advice. I think it would be safer to stay indoors!

That is way cool having your own hat with your name on it. plus a clock with your name on it. so are you named after the remington rifle? I do hope you protect all the deer from the hunters. I know you will miss Beth, but Mike will take good care of you OR ELSE when beth gets back look out. you be sure to wear your bright colors because you do kind of sorta look like a bear

Very good advice Remington. We don't like hunting season here. We just don't like the thought of animals being shot at all. I know you will miss Beth and I bet she will miss you too! You can have some man time with Mike though!! Love that picture with Ozabella checking out your hat..your eyes got big!! Have a great weekend, be careful outside with those hunters around. We hope Beth has a good trip!!! Have fun with Mike!!! Lot of love, Holly and mom

Grrrreat Hat and Vest. Wouldn't want someone to think you were a BEAR.

Hey Buddy! You are a very nice guy to help out the deer. No hunters around us, but I don't think I would ever be mistaken for a bear or a deer - maybe a chipmunk!

We worry about our deer too...we have No Hunting signs posted everywhere, but every year we have to "ask" somoeone to get off our property! Geeze!!!
Our dad has been gone for over a week and Sas has never been without him...she's doing ok, but he won't be home for 2 more weeks!

Hugs to you and nosestaps to Ozabella,

You and Mike will be fine. You'll watch the game, or some game if your team isn't playing. You'll drink beer. You'll hide some deer. Eat man food, like jerky and pork rinds. Oh, and pass gas. And before you know it, Beth will be home.

lotsa licks, Lola

We don't do the clock thing here, so there will be no sleeping in for us! Be careful, Remington, and remember to wear your orange gear!
