This is cool....

Remember I told you Mike had a job.
He leaves us everyday to "bring home the bacon",
what that really means is that
he earns money
so we can eat
and have a place to live and stay warm.
ANYWAY....he works at a hospital.
The hospital here and the one in the town
down the road from us partnered up and
started a service line (something to help people).
To let people know about it they made a video.
It is really cool.
When you watch it the guy
pretending to play
 the saxaphone is Mike.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Later -- Remington --
it is always nice to help others
-- out!

Oh, that's a wonderful video Remington! There's always a lot going on where my Mom's work about breast cancer, too. But no videos. Probably for the best, thinking of the people at their work..

Oh Rem...if I do believe lady like behavior comes with maturity. They nearly disowned me after a month. My worst habit was climbing to the back of the chair pictured in today's post. I would get to the mantel walk across it to the top of the 7' Ethan Allen Secretary. Dad could not reach me up there. They finally had to move the chair out into the center of the room. Then there was the time I was caught on the top of the Grandfather clock...Thank goodness they loved me unconditionally and were determined not to let a 2 lb kitty bet them.

Grandfather clock continued...blog cut me off MOL
Dad actually came home caught me on it and I was chewing on the wood.....
They could not move the clock out of my clutches so they wrapped it in a quilt secured with duct tape, yet another use of duct tape. I got on it once or twice with the quilt on it but lost interests. Mom said I seemed to calm down by about 9 months either due to age or spaying which was at about 7.5 months.

You must be so proud of Mike and everyone in your town who participated in putting together this INCREDIBLE message of awareness and life saving information. The only way we will beat the monster is through awareness, support of research and screening leading to early diagnosis. Thanks for spreading the word.
