Hi! My name is Golden Oaks Remington Steal My Heart.
It's okay if you just call me Remington. I was born January 9, 2009. My dad's name is Golden Oaks Midnight Dream but they call him Bentley and mom's name is Golden Oaks Summer Song and they call her Annie. I was born in Michigan and Mary and David have been taking care of me. I am going to go to Minnesota to live with Mike and Beth. They have a lot of plans for me. Mary says it'll be a fun life! I am really looking forward to it! I'll miss my mom, dad, my brothers and sisters and Mary and David but -- we'll keep in touch....
We didn't even know Aitkin County exhisted let alone how many lakes it has, bol - our mother is such and ignoramous! It sounds very pretty much like Cumbria in England, that has lots of lakes, though not that many.
we don't have that many lakes in our county but in the state of florida we have Largest Lake - Lake Okeechobee at 700 square miles (the 2nd largest freshwater lake in the United States) and 11,000 miles of waterways. does that count Rem?
Hi Remington! That is very interesting and sounds great to us!! We love lakes!! I don't swim but I like to look!! Your place sounds wonderful!! Happy Friday!!! Lots of love, Holly and mom
Hey Rem, I just read your comment on Jack's blog about not having any "big" friends to play with... I completely understand because Sas and Zack really don't play with me, due to my size... Sure wish you and I lived closer, we could be playmates! Your big-boned friend, Buddy
Wow! Do you like to swim? Thanks for stopping by my blog Remmie (do you mind nicknames?), it was so nice to meet you! Love your blog too, and I'm not a follower :-) Lick, Chester
Oh my dogs Rem we had no idea there was so much water around you. I bet each and every lake has it's own beautiful scenery too!!
Mom and Dad didn't bring me any treats but they sure smelled funny all kinds of food aromas on them. You know what my sweet mom did? They walked through several livestock arenas...she was worried about bringing something bad in the house so they took off their shoes outside and sprayed them down with Clorox Anywhere. I think she loves me!!! Hugs Madi
Wow, that really is a lot of lakes - do you think you can make it to one a day? We wonder if that is like an apple a day keeping the doctor away - never mind.
Well, now dat just makes me tired thinking bouts all dat swimmin'....whew! Then again, I do haves an aeversion to da water. Can't wait to see you pick up water skiing:)
There's a lot of lakes up there. More than average. I think it was in your part of the country that my human brother and his band (he's recovering musician)played a festival called the 10,000 Lakes Festival once or twice. That's when we realized that your states kind of wrote the book on lakes.

Wow, it's really wonderful to have so many lakes around. 365 lakes!!! An amazing number.
So, is there any plan for you to visit all the lakes in the near future? Each lake a day and make it a YEAR???

Isn't your state motto "Land of 100,000,000,000 Lakes"? In New Mexico, we have like 3, and I think 2 are damed reservoirs! Jealous.
