Results....

HOORAY!
THEY DID IT!
Vikings 24 -- Lions 10

If you were outside about 3:00 Minnesota time
I am certain a
BIG VICTORY HOWL
could be heard over the whole world.
That was me!

The phone started ringing about 3:10....
first the coach calling to thank me
and then a certain player
with a low common denominator
on his jersey,
who I won't mention
(wouldn't want to brag)
called to thank me also.
THAT was an honor!
I told them both --
no thanks necessary,
I was happy to be able to help.

I would say all the hard work I put in on
this playbook was a success!
To recap on a couple of the special plays....

First -- middle of page 46 --  Play 145 --
I advised Chris Kluwe to punt kick the ball
using a new technique I devised called the
"Remington Spin".
This resulted in a punt fumble recovery.
They did an excellant job with this.

Second -- page 26 -- Play 115 --
The "Adrian Peterson's Longest Run Ever" play.
80 yards!
Excecuted extremely well!
Bravo Adrian!

I just want to say I was so honored
that they consulted the playbook so often
and the results turned out so well!

Next week the Vikings have a bye week --
 which means "VACATION" for them.
They need it after all that hard work!

The day before the next game will be
another "special day"....
but you will have to wait until
then to find out....

Next game --
October 11 --
Vikings vs. N.Y. Jets
That's a Monday night game at 7:30pm

Later -- Remington --
one VERY VERY VERY happy
#1 Vikings fan
 -- out!

Whoopee for the Vikings and Rem....how clever of you to prepare the playbook for your team. We think maybe they should let you run out on the field with the team at the next home game....
Everyone would be hollering go Rem, go Rem.

Thank goodness Detroit is in your division. Good to get a W under your belt. It will be much harder next game, but at least you have a week to rest the old guy. Better send Bret some magic slobber.

Congradulations, Rem!! But it looks like your brain is fried from all the hard work! You are needing lots of biscuits and a nap to re-energize! It would probably be easier to be the quarterback. The coach needs to hire you as his ghostwriter!

Molly the Airedale said...

Sounds like you'll have a fulltime job creating playbooks for the Vikings! Make sure you still have time to blog too okay, Remington?!

Love ya lots
