The end of September....

Today is last day of September.
Time goes by so quickly.
When I sit and think about it
I need to really take time throughout
my days to appreciate everything around me.
Big and small....
Like all the love I have with my family,
the beauty of the outdoors,
all of my friends I have been blessed with,
and SO much more....
God has blessed me!

As this month comes to a close
I look forward to the next three months.
There will be many festivities  --
birthdays, anniversaries, holidays
and of course, football.
Those are also important to remember.

So until I see you next month --
have an enjoyable last day of September, my friends.
Remember --
you only get one chance
to make the most of this day....
make it a happy one!

Later -- Remington --
blessed and VERY thankful for it!
-- out!

Oh, is September gone already? That was quick. Well it seems to be going out with a bang here, too and if forecasts are right October will come in the same way. Rain, wind, flooding. It's nice in the house, though, which is where I'm staying except when absolutely necessary.

lotsa licks, Lola

Remington, what a very sweet post!! It's hard to believe that September is at the end already. It's been raining here all week long which makes up for a long dry summer. We are still hoping to see some beautiful colours like you have!! Lots of love, Holly and mom

Hi Remington! This is Gus! I think it is a great think to appreciate all the wonderful things you have! And I wanted to thank you for letting Lady Ozabella use your computer yesterday - that was very nice! She said something is happening on Monday. Tell her I am not sure but she is at the age when a lot of girlcats get Spaded (I know that this is the right spelling because I just learned about it at Daisy's site). Tell her if that if that is the case it is a good thing and not to be scared - and if she needs to know about it Daisy's brother Harley, who is super smart, explained all about it today at their site (here is a link for her http://daisythecurlycat.blogspot.com/2010/09/how-does-that-work-getting-spaded.html). I almost couldn't believe he wrote about it. If she is having something else done, well, I bet Harley can explain that too! Please tell her I hope she is doing ok and I miss her pretty face! And thank you for being so nice to her!!

You've made it a very Thankful Thursday, Rem!! And I see that you appreciate the fleeting quality of time as much as we old folks do!! You are a wise Neuf at heart, Rem. Perhaps what some would call an Old Soul! Not that I believe in that stuff, I'm just sayin'! I hope you run in the leaves, smell all the trees, play ball with Beth and Mike, eat roasted hot dogs, and woof with joy all fall, Rem!! And I hope to see it all, too!

Hi Remington - I had to do one more quick comment because I saw yours at my blog. I am going to do a post on Monday for Ozabella (don't tell her ok - I don't want her to get scared) so we all send her good luck. My brother Cosmo (who lives with my auntie Kelly) had a little trouble when he had his hoohaectomy but as long as the vet is good and keeps close watch (and knowing there are issues ahead of time will help a lot) she should be ok. But don't tell her about the post til after ok.
