The Storm....

This weekend we went to Minneapolis.  On the way home we got stuck in a big storm.  They kept saying on the radio --
"No travel advised"
I thought that was only for the winter....
I wasn't scared, I just watched out the window....
Beth LOVES to take pictures, in case you didn't know....
So of course she was VERY busy watching the sky....
We made it home before several other storms went through our area.  Good thing we left Minneapolis when we did because they had damage and it was right where we had been!  Lucked out!

Later -- Remington -- The Storm Chaser -- out!

That lightening is very spectacular, we love a good storm too and enjoy watching it when it is out to sea flashing over the waves.

What terrific storm photos, Remington! I wonder if you were barking or shaking while the sky got dark and scary looking or were you as brave as ever? I know Daisy (our coonhound) would've been nervous and scared if she were in your backseat....but don't tell her I said so!

We heard about lots of violent storms up your way we are glad you made it home safely. Hugs to you dear Rem and all your siblings and Beth and Mike,

Whoa! Those are some incredible lightning photos!!!

We were recently in a huge classic Massachusetts storm while driving....let's just say it got my heart rate up. The rain came down so heavy we couldn't see down the road and had to pull over. It was very exciting. The lightning was super close too, although not much of the pretty streak lightning you got.

I am very glad that you got home safe and sound Remington. Good job watching out the window too! That way, if someone tried to attack the car, you are already prepared to protect Beth and fight them off.

OOOOOO, lightning! I'm very jealous. Those are wonderful pics!!!

We had a bad storm here as well, with 60 mph winds. Very unusual for it to get that windy here.

Remington, we sure are glad you made it back safe!! Beth really got some great pictures of that storm and the lightning! Mom would never be able to do that if she even had a good camera because she's as scared of storms like I am! We usually hide when it storms! Lots of love, Holly and mom

Not to put too fine a point on it, I don't think you were a Storm Chaser. Sounds like you were a Storm Flee-er. Just saying.

P.S. - And the hu-dad says smart move.
