Friends....

News from Zone 3....

Mr. and Mrs. Grey Fox stopped by to visit....
AND much to our surprise -- Skunkae'
Had a baby!
 Isn't she cute?
I don't know her name yet.

And of course the Skunk Whisperer, Mike, was SO excited!
I don't know what it is about skunks -- but he sure likes them!

Later -- Remington -- happy for all of my friends! -- out!

Great friends to admire from the window, though we don't recommend playing with those black and white kitties. Just saying.

Zone 3 aka Wild Kingdom is thriving under you watchful eye. The purple and white petunias look very pretty next to your lovely black coat.

Wow ... great wildlife in your back yard, Remington! Your mom is quick with the camera to catch those pictures too. And yeah ... that baby skunk is pretty cute!

Gus said...

Wow...you are a nature preserve all by yourself! Just stay away from the skunks...because they may not understand Newfies, and you could find yourself suddenly in great need of tomato juice.

Wow, zone 3 sure is hopping thes days huh? Billy wants you to know; stay away from those cute little skunks! As a pup he got to close to one and PHEWIE! Thank goodness he was little and easy to clean up! Now you on the other hand, would need a LOT of tomatoe juice to take that smell away!

Remington Zone 3 has become the ultimate Wildlife summer destination. Love the pics.

Don't get too friendly with Skunkae, Remington! It would be pretty hard to get her well known smell out of your thick coat.

The fox are adorable! Looks like they like the bird seed?

Wow, Rem! How is it that you get such wildlife in your yard? You must live in the country or near the woods. Too cool!! I hope you don't like skunks too well, Rem, or you could get a stinky surprise! But such a cute mama and baby picture!

Nice visitors to your yard!! I really like the fox but I am not sure about those skunk things. M.O.M. tells me I have smelled their scent before but just didn't know where is was coming from. Hugs and wags, Mistaya

Wow! With visitors like that you better keep your feline siblings inside!

We like hte fox visitors, but we could do without the skunks...unless they have their stinkies removed.

I would NOT recommend trying to discover if the baby is a he or a she! The foxes are a handsome couple. Your Zone 3 is such a safe sanctuary for these amazing creatures...you should be proud that these shy ones come so close.

Wonderful pictures! A baby skunk! SO CUTE!! Love Mr. and Mrs. Fox, very elegant. I have never seen a fox in my yard or a skunk....we just get those moose (bears too.... ) today a young bear broke into a house near my friend's house and raided the trash compactor. There were pork chops thawing on the kitchen counter but the bear ignored the chops and ripped apart the trash compactor. The police arrived and chased the bear away. Thankfully they did not shoot it.
