For the birds....

In Zone 3 not only are there fox, skunk, raccoons, squirrels and deer but many, many birds.  I love to hear them sing to me each day.

Here are some pictures of our many daily visitors....
Hope you enjoyed the bird show....

Rem,
Oh my word all of the birdie picture sent Mom over the edge...boy do you have a variety in zone 3. Tell Beth to change the linens and keep a light burning. Mom is on the way to stay with you all for a while.

I love the hummingbird! We don't have any in our zone (I don't remember which zone we are in), but we will be headed up to northern WI in August and will see lots of hummingbirds and other critters.

Your Pileated is gorgeous! We get them around here knocking on our wood but they never get close enough for a good picture. So shy. Beautiful birds!

Great bird show...What kind of birdies were visiting the hummer feeders?
Our hummers have been very frisky lately, keeping Mom busy refilling feeders.
Hugs and belly rubs to you and nosetaps to Ozabella!

Oh, hello hummies!
Do you mix the sweet water yourself for the hummingbirds?
Living in a beautiful garden like that, no wonder you're the most romantic pup!
Cheers!

Wow, what pretty visitors. I love to bark and chase them, don't you? Sometimes I think that if I run fast enough, and bark loud enough, I can soar in the sky with them all. Unfortunetly, it hasn't worked yet. But, it will! Don't worry! I'll fly some day! Just like those pretty birds.

You have quite a variety of birdies and your hummingbirds are a different color from the ones we have. How do you keep the squirrels from eating all of the seed and suet?

We (I) didn't even realize how much we (I) miss our birds until we saw your pawsome pictures. Now I don't feel like such an odd-ball. I LOVE to hunt for and watch (and flush out) birds. It's a passion. You've got some really beautiful ones ... and REALLY beautiful pictures of them ... at your home. (Tell your people they did a great job capturing those shots so I could enjoy them!)
