Planting flowers....

Today I have the day off from Baby Watching and
I get to help plant flowers!
I can't wait!

Here's my gardening tip of the day --

When planting BIG pots of flowers you can put used plastic jugs or bottles in the bottom for filler.(smash them down if you like)  Your plants only need about 1/2 a pot of dirt to grow in the big pots.  This way you save on dirt, recycle and
the pot won't be that heavy to move!
Win, win situation!

Later -- Remington -- has anyone seen my gardening gloves? -- out! (in the DIRT!)

Hi Remington, we've just had a lovely catch-up on your posts. We do so love your blog - it always makes our tails wag, it really does make us and our FH feel very happy.

We love all the outfits you wear, we loved your Remie Nelson look, he he he! And your may moon was beautiful.

Our FH - who admittedly isn't much of a kitty person - has fallen HARD for Oz! The photo of him reading and peeping out from behind the ball had her making such a loud 'squeeee' noise! We may never recover full use of our ears again.....!

You are a much better garden assistant than Ciara - she likes to "un-plant" things.

Nice tip, sometimes you just can't find the big rocks to take up that space.

Darn it Remington, we saw your tip way too late, Mom already planted all of her flowers! She had one big pot left and made Dad go out and get some more dirt so she could finish it....if she knew about this good tip, Dad wouldn't have made a wasted trip!!
