Today is Memorial Day.
Memorial Day, which was originally called Decoration Day because the graves of fallen soldiers were decorated with flowers, is a day to remember all of the men and women and War Dogs who have died serving our country. (click on War Dogs to read about them)
I would like to take this time to say a prayer of thanks to those who lost their lives protecting us and thoses who have served and are serving to keep this country free.
Beth's father served in the Navy and fought in World War II.
She is very proud and thankful that he did....
