From the land of OZ....

 I have news......
I am no longer the baby of the family!
Meet my new brother....
Here's the story....Mike and Beth's daughter Amy lives on a farm and this cat wandered in their barn and had kittens.  On Monday night something got in there and killed mommy and the other kittens -- this guy made it....   Since Amy works full time she would not have time to feed him every 2 - 3 hours,   Beth said being she works from home she would do it!  He is only three weeks old.  Beth and I drove to Fargo to get him and then we went RIGHT to the vet to make sure we would do everything the way we are suppose to for this little guy!
We are all in LOVE with him!
He crawls on my head and follows me all over the place.  I think he thinks I am a big cat.
We have been having fun!
I have a lot I can teach little Oz!
That's right Oz -- I am YOUR big brother!

Hey -- wait does that make me the Wizard of OZ?

Why, yes it does!

Later -- Remington -- the BIG brother
(I sure hope he likes football!) -- OUT!

Oh Remington, you don't know the trouble you have just started in this house.
Our mum has been missing our cat since she died and is desperate for a kitten.
Those pics are soooooo adorable. We didn't think there was anything cuter than you but apparently you and an itsy bitsy little kitten has won the prize!!!

Oh we are so sad about Oz's family but we know that he is very lucky to have a wonderful home and great big brother like you! Virgil lost his family (we think - he and his brother were found on a step and his brother didn't survive after an attack, but Virgil was ok) and we took him in at 4 weeks - he was already eating on his own. We love that you are going to be able to teach Oz to be a good guy - but he may end up thinking he is a doggie with such a big influence around! And oh those pictures are some of the cutest things I have ever seen - I have two words for you - Cute Overload - you have to send them one! We know you will teach him lots of good stuff!!

CONGRATS on becoming a big brother Remington!!! That kitty is sooooo cute!! I'm sure you'll have lots of fun together!

Hi Remy,
Wow, what a beautiful kitten. Mom has experience with three week old kittens. KMR (kitten Milk Replacement) and an very small syringe that you can purchase at any pet store works wonders.

Congratulations on becoming a big brother!

Remington you are so talented at so many things but WHOEVER would have thought you would become a surrogate mother for an orphan kitty! You are one amazing pup!

Chester said...

Oz is a perfect compliment to your household and I like that you two are getting along so wonderfully from the get-go! (Just be careful not to roll over on the little dude) Give your Mom and Dad some extra slobbers for takin' him in.

When he grows up maybe you can add to him to your reportin' team!

Woofs and complimentary slobbers,
Chester ;0=)

Hey Remington, how does it feel to have that kitten crawling all over you, especially on your head? You are so good and patient with that little guy. We don't think we would allow a cat near us! Have fun with your "little brother", teach him how to play football...hahaha...
