New game!

To stay in shape for football season Mike got me something called a frisbee.  Not like the one with my name on it but a different one with a hole in the center.  It's name you ask....
RED!

How it works is -- Mike does this thing that makes it spin in the air and I run and get it....

The part I don't quite have down pat yet is....

something about giving it back after I caught it....

NOT FAIR!  It should be my turn to throw it and Mike run and get it!

Later -- Remington -- still learning the ropes -- out!

Yes, we do agree with you, Remington. Our humans are like that too, each time we brought something back they want us to give it to them. Why? It should be our turn to throw and they fetch!

Rem we love RED...it is our favorite color it certainly looks like fun. When you train Mike to run after Red be sure Beth is there to take pictures. HA!!!

Beth, Mike and Rem Dad asked me to thank you very much for the very pretty b-day card with the most handsome wolfies on it!! You're the best.

Still don't have that down yet either. I play a game called, "keep away from hooman until they fall down from running after me."

Oh I love new games. My favorite game is bring the toy to lady or man, and tell them to throw it, but don't give it to them BOL!

Peace out,
Winnie

When you teach Mike to chase after it, please post a video.
We play a "keep away" version of games here, but have been told it really is fun to give it back to the human. Makes the games last longer.

I love games too!! My favorite one to play with my hoomans is keep away....they'll be in bed and I'll bark at them to pick me up, and when they reach down to get me, I run away! I do this over and over until they are forced to get out of bed to get me, hee hee!!

Haha, that's a good idea Remington but somehow the humans never catch on.

I LOVE your new toy RED. I am sure you will start training Mike right away. Be sure to give him a treat when he comes back with it. He'll catch on. Red is soooo lucky that Mike found him and gave him a grrreat home.

That's a pretty red frisbee! Mom has never bought me one with a hole in it but it sounds so much fun. I love to play but I have a problem giving the toy back. I think you are right. Why don't the peoples go get it and let us throw it or put it somewhere and they go get it? Lots of love, Debbie and Holly

WOWIE!
A different type of frisbee!I just love these 'go get it' games.Ginger doesn't bother though. She just goes, sniffs n refuses to get it!

U don't get it Remington. u are d one supposed to get it. d hoomans won't.besides there is an advantage. u can sometimes run around with it in ur mouth and get mummy to run after u.that way she can get her daily dose of exercise. i try that oftentimes.

Oh Remington that is a great idea that you should get to throw it and have Mike chase it! But we bet Mike would not be as good at getting it as you are - maybe he knows that so that is why he plays that you do the chasing! Humans are tricky like that!! They are like that when we play with them too.

Hmm. Running after it sounds fun, but we don't do the "bringing it back" part. Well, except for Dave - who is a Lab in a Sibe suit. Real Siberians do NOT fetch. Unless we feel like it.

Afternoon Remy,
You and Red are certainly made for each other.
Mom would like a picture of Mike jumping into the air just about to catch Red. I'm glad you have enrolled him in training. It's so much easier to work out when you have a partner.
Have a great day,.
Love your BroLeo

PS. Not sure if Beth told you, but Mom is going to let you borrow her Percheron, Jenna, to use as your horse in your upcoming acting debut.

okay, so i totally agree with you remington! it's not fair at all! my mama and daddy do the same thing when they throw or kick my big green ball. i'm supposed to come back to them, and when they say "drop it", i'm just supposed to gently place it at their footsies...whatevs!!

Hi Remington! I just jumped in here via some of the other doggie blogs I found via a friend's site... do you mind my asking what breed you are? You look a bit like rottweiler crossed with some sort of water-dog... but what the breed would be I've no idea...

Yeah, why IS it that the humans always get to stand still and throw and WE always have to run like crazy and bring it back...only to have them throw it away again?

Mr Koda MD said...

I don't understand why you bother taking it back!!!!

Full moon it is! I spied it but Mum is too dorky with the camera and can't make it focus proper.

Chew it into a milliondogzillion pieces Rem!

That looks like fun Remington. Now if you can just train Mike to fetch it will be twice as much fun.
