In this sport they have a bat and ball. I get the ball thing but the bat....well, I am just not too sure how that works yet....

A bat? Simple. Think of your tail. When you are really happy. And standing by a table with drinks or "fragiles." And your humans are the fielders trying to catch those objects. We think that is baseball.

But you have this baseball thing a bit wrong....see, even though we can all stand up and sing all the standard choruses of the U of Minnesota fight song (and a few non standard ones) we bleed Cardinal red around here. In fact, one of the reasons we moved to Mayemphis was because the "Redbirds" here are a Cardinal farm team, and we are only a couple hundred miles from the Temple (aka Busch Stadium)

I sweetie, my big bear of a sweetie. I'm so sorry my mom hasn't had a chance to put up a photo of me with your cards you sent me, but I promise we will this weekend. We wanted to THANK YOU for all your love and support and the fabulous cards you sent us. We just got your great EASTER card yesterday!! My daddy loves jelly beans so he loved the picture. Your love and support meant so much to us while we were in Hospice care with John and Gertrud. It took a toll on my mom, but she is starting to get back into the swing of things. One of the time in putting a package together with some gifts she has collected for you Remington. Boy are you going to be surprised!!! She promises to get it out this Monday. The postman is helping her package it. He has been really helpful. But again. Thank you so much for all your love and support you big furry ball of love. Unfortunately, we did not have access to a computer while we were in the hospice, so it has taken us a while to read up and comment on all our friends. We are still behind. We try to do one a day at a time. We can't wait for Baseball season too. My mom is an Orioles fan, so hopefully we can have some fun banter back and forth. We love you Remington.
