- Hi! My name is Golden Oaks Remington Steal My Heart. It's okay if you just call me Remington. I was born January 9, 2009. My dad's name is Golden Oaks Midnight Dream but they call him Bentley and mom's name is Golden Oaks Summer Song and they call her Annie. I was born in Michigan and Mary and David have been taking care of me. I am going to go to Minnesota to live with Mike and Beth. They have a lot of plans for me. Mary says it'll be a fun life! I am really looking forward to it! I'll miss my mom, dad, my brothers and sisters and Mary and David but -- we'll keep in touch....

We don't know the answer about Goofy -- although we agree, he's probably a goofy dawg, kind of like my brother Just Harry. But after more than a year, we just discovered your blog and liked it a lot. Very cool.
We read down until we saw your Bird Dog report on our favorite bird - the Cardinal (for reasons that will becone apparent).
We hope, now that the Olympics are over, that your angst about Shaun White will quiet down -- and you could think about a call from our favorite hero -- Albert Pujols. But, oops, you're in the Twin Cities. Double oops. Nevermind.

He is an anthropomorphic dog and is one of Mickey Mouse's best friends. He was given Goofy as a nickname originating from his original concept name"Dippy Dawg" Anyway, hope this help ... Great thought provoking question... I love it when dawgs start deep, philosophical conversations like this. I believe Goofy is the personification of all dogs in caricature form, symbolic of the human traits so many people bestow upon their own pets.

You know that's a very good question. I think from the ears, Goofy's supposed to be a dog, too -- but sort of half-human. Nobody's ever said, for sure, I think. Great observation!
