Party or pout?

March 20, 2010 -- the first day of Spring
It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade. ~Charles Dickens

AND NOW I HAVE THIS TO DEAL WITH!
Today is the first day of Spring and a day of celebration and now this!  Question -- party or pout?  That is today's big question!  I am all bummed out because I saw Mike take the suitcase this morning and pack A LOT of clothes in it!  Yep, leaving me and Beth AGAIN!  This doesn't seem to be bothering Beth one bit and I am freaking out here!  Beth told me he won't be gone too long but longer than usual....what does THAT mean....days, weeks, years?  How am I suppose to know?  Beth keeps saying to relax and enjoy the fact that it will only be her and I and the kitties and we can do whatever we want!  If we want to eat breakfast at noon we can or if we want to eat spaghetti every night, we can!  Hhhhmmm, spaghetti every night, now that might not be so bad....  Gotta go -- I think I will HELP Mike get his stuff packed!

Later -- Remington -- PARTYING ON (Spaghetti style)!

Spaghetti every night doesn't sound like too bad of a trade off. I hope Mike hurries back for you.:)

Madi votes for PARTY HARDY and says she'll be on the next plane so save some spaghetti for her!!!
However, Rem when Mike left did he look at you very seriously and say you are the man of the house until I return? If so, then Big boy you have to be RESPONSIBLE....bummer!!

Partying spaghetti style? That sounds great! Now maybe you'll miss Mike just a little less.

Out of every bad thing, good things come. Maybe you can even snag an extra walkie or some super play time.

No, Remington, you should definitely not pout, because pouting is boring, because you can't do any fun stuff when you pout. Plus you need to be there for Beth!

It is so stressful when they leave us, but remember Remington, they ALWAYS come back. Cause we're cute. And they can't live without us...

When our mom was growing up she said that she could eat spaghetti every night, so you are lucky! Most of us enjoy it when our dad travels, which he does not really do much anymore, but after about 2 nights away, Ginger waits for him to get home in our bedroom hallway, she is a little Daddy's Girl even though she is mostly bossy. Love, Toby xoxo

We are not sure why Mike keeps going off - we hope there isn't another dog involved!!!
Would you like us to come over?

Hi Reminton, you made us laugh with your comment! The trees that look green have moss growing on them. They are pretty old and gnarled so perhaps that is why they look scary!
They still smell of squirrels that have run up there.

Hi Remington and Beth,
What is your temperature in the day time? The coons don't come out in the day time until the tems are up to 85+. They can't sleep when it is too hot. My coons are still sleeping all day. Our highest temperature so far has been 74 degrees. When it gets HOT you will see the coons in the day time.
