I GOT NEUTERED!

Remember I told you I overheard Beth saying something about an "Emergency Neutering".  I went on the internet this morning to check it out.  Well, that was NOT a party theme!  I had surgery!  No wonder I felt out of it!  I was in the hospital and they knocked me out and cut me open!  REALLY!  I ran to Beth and asked what was the meaning of this!  She explained that it would be much better for me -- health wise and all.  And that with all the career goals I have that having children probably would not be the best for me.  We talked a LONG time and I asked many, many questions and now I do agree that she was right.  It was just such a shock!  I said -- but what if I get married and we want children.  She said there a many babies out there that need good homes and we could adopt.  Well, that was a relief!

I am feeling better today -- AFTER MAJOR SURGERY!  I am recovering very well....

I asked Beth if I would have a scar and she said yes.  I said I didn't like that -- and she told me that a scar is like a tattoo with a story....how cool is that!?!

Later -- Remington -- I have a story -- out!

Oh poor Remington, so have we so if we get married now we will have to adopt!
Just think how cute a newfoundland cross basset pup would be!
We agree there are too many doggies out there - once they all have homes then we can think again.
Do they do neutering reversals?

Good Morning Remy,
I hope after a good nights sleep you are feeling much better. Just remember to CLIMB on the couch, not jump! If I get married we're going to have to adopt too. My girls are adopted (mom and dad had Connor) and did we get the best girls ever. Adoption is such a great way to grow your family. Grady and I got to pick out new chewies this morning, I chose a cool new duck in your honor. Just kick back and put your feet up for a day or two.
Love your BroLeo.

Hi Remmington, I was tutored and Ruby and Penny both had WhoWhoectomies. It is the responsible thingy to do. They even get a SPECIAL licence.. for life where they live. I don't get that here. I think it is a gooood idea. If you are tutored or have a WhoWhoectomy some places also let you get your licence cheaper. How cool is that!!! PeeS... just so you know.. tutoring doesn't effect your peeshooter at all. I'm just saying.

Well, we are glad that Beth was so open with you and we love the explanation for the scar. And, we are so glad you are feeling better...and that you are being a gentleman about the whole thing.

Well, yes, we kind of knew what that pawty hat was all about...

But we think you should be very grateful to your Beth. She was frank with you (even post facto) and told you like it is.

Adoption -- also known as "gotcha' day for so many pups whose lives go from sad or hopeless to joyful -- is one of the coolest things around for our kind.

So wear your scar proudly. We're with you on that!!

Jake and Just Harry

Hey Rem.... my mom says you had a party at the vet's office and that you got "tutored". I told her that I wanna be tutored too... but she says I can't .... cause I'm a girl. I hate being a girl...... your sister, Maxine

Whoa Dude, you really look out of it in that pic! I know what your saying, man! But get lots of rest and in a day or so, you'll be as good as new!
With all of your fur DON'T worry, the scar will never show!
And like Leo said: climb don't jump on the couch!

Hey, it eventually happens to all of us sailors. The tattoo, not the other thing!!!! Lady thinks you are just as handsome and a lot safer now. Ask Mom, she'll splain that one.

Although you're looking a bit sad, the next few days things will start to feel better. And.....ask Beth if she could buy some "jewels" for you to wear, now that you are missing yours. Love you Remmy!<3

Hi Remington,

We are sad you had to have surgery, but if keeps you healthy than we are glad you had it done. And we agree with Beth... there are plenty of puppy dogs out there should you need a baby... that's how we got the kiddlets!

Remington, welcome to the "tutored" club! I sadly lost my friends two years ago and it was a bit airy down there for a bit, but I got used to it. And luckily, I have no scar (which is good for me as I don't have fur down there like you do!). But next time dude.....watch out when someone mentions "party" BOL!!!

Oh Remington, I am so sory about your trip to your doctor. I was with my new M.O.M. and M.O.D. just a few days when they took me back to the place they rescued me from and did that kind of surgery on me. Well, I am a girl so mine is a little different than yours but I think you know what I mean. I know these things are for the best but gee whiz, I sure didn't like it. M.O.M. did tell me that I never have to do that again so maybe you don't either. But you are still so handsome to me!!! Hugs and wags, Mistaya

I had a feeling that it wasnt going to be a party, Mom did the same to me 4 yrs ago. Well, adoption is nice too when you are ready. So....a story with the scar...well make it a good story kinda like humans do when they walked uphill both ways in a snowstorm lol

When Jack had his 'procedure', he was 4 months old. And as most 4 month olds are, he was a bit rambunctious. So, after the 'procedure', the vet told me that Jack needed to remain calm for 10 days.
I figure he'll hit 10 days total in about 6 more years.
