Slip sliding away....

Well, we will not be going to the parade today. I was really looking forward to it but Beth said this lady named Mother Nature has different plans for us. I don't know if she called Beth or what the deal is. All I know is that when I went outside to do my business this morning it was hard to stand up. The ground was like what those skaters on TV are on. Beth said it is suppose to keep raining and freezing for two days and then snow on top of that. I like snow but not the slippery stuff. That is dangerous! I could break a leg!
So we are going to stay home and play games and watch TV and just have fun! Beth bought a bunch of treats yesterday because she said when Mother Nature contacted her she thought she should be prepared in case we couldn't go anywhere.
FOOTBALL tomorrow! Evening game....but there is one in the afternoon I can watch just to get me going for the VIKINGS game with the New Orleans Saints.
Later. Remington -- not Plushenko (he has blonde hair) -- out!

Morning Remington.
We're suppose to have the same weather tomorrow so Mom said we needed to move more fire wood up on the small porch. I helped by pulling the sleds once the kids had them loaded. Mom said we worked hard, I just thought I was having fun. Connor didn't have his happy face on when I took a log off here and there to run around the yard with. The kids got hot chocolate and warm bread from the oven and I got a new chewie from Mom's magic drawer. She seems to have the best stuff in there!
Stay safe and warm.

Thank goodness Mother Nature gave Beth a shout out you all would not want to be stuck at home without necessities. Stay warm. I bet Beth will be making some of her famous hot chocolate too. Madi and Mom

PS I just saw Leo's picture..he is a Landseer Newfie right? Or something similar. Mom and I are trying to learn all about your breed since you are the frist Newfie we've known personally.
Mom has a question....why/how do some Newfies of the same litter get the white on them?

Oh I am so sorry Remington! Your beautiful black coat would get all full of ice if you were out to long today, and that wouldn't be much fun for you or mom! So just enjoy the treats, games and parents, OK? Big hugs and fingers running trhough your hair!

There is a lot of snow and ice up on the mountains, but the roads are closed so we can't go up there. Maybe the tall guy will take me when they open the roads here!

You should be careful when you stick your nose in the snow. Who knows where it's been! :)

Dear Remington, I hope your treats ease your pain. Treats? Did I just say treats? Slurp. Anyway, I'm sorry your Mother Nature wasn't good to you today. My Mother Nature brought me Sunshine. I'll send some rays your way, although it sounds like you'll be watching the football game regardless of the weather. Enjoy!

Hi Remington!

I heard about you from Khyra and being another Minniesnowda pup, I thought I would just say hello! I wrote a bit about the weather on my blog today, so I won't say more here.

I just gotta get outside, but it is so nasty and then I come in and gotta get the towell routine.
Ah, well I mostly like the snow but not this wet stuff!

Kisses,
Stella

Snow we love - ice - not so much.

Mother Nature has a way of changing plans, especially this time of the year. Snow is one thing but icy is bad, definitely good staying home weather. Glad to hear your mom stocked up on goodies.

Hi Remington, we are not keen on the ice - well to be exact our mum hates it!
You would not believe the carry on cos she is scared she will sleep.
We think skates are the best idea - do you know if they do doggie skates?
